No, of course not.
Raping someone is the same as killing a person. I don't think rapists think about the end results of rape, all they think about is to fulfill their inhuman disgusting desires. They choose to satisfy their stinking desires over the vulnerable, in most cases children and women. According to statistics, SA is one of the countries with the highest rate of child rape.
If rapists can kill then they should be killed. Really these people don't deserve to live. The act of raping a three months old baby can not even be explained. I do not understand the law of SA with regard to rape convictions. I just think that the punishment given to rapists is too soft and therefore, people are not afraid of being convicted of rape. In most cases we have seen perpetrators of rape offences repeat the act which is a threat to society.
Something needs to be done about this vicious crime and it should be done quickly. I think radical lobbying against rape will be the answer to this act of abomination. A person who can't control his or her feelings is an animal with no legs period. Granting bail to rapists is simply encouraging them to carry on with their filthy acts.

Two people come out of a building and into a story.
It is 3pm in Richards court on the street of Little Mowbray. Waking up from my cool afternoon nap, I get to the bathroom to refresh myself, out of the bathroom onto the window facing Little Mowbray street with my mind captivated with thoughts of how I will be a money maker during the 2010 soccer world cup. How impatiently I have been waiting for this occasion to come.
Still on my window overlooking an edge of Table Mountain, I look up to clear my mind, my eyes capture two teenage boys probably aged 13 wearing baggy jeans, graffiti designed T-shirts, sneakers and one of them putting on a pair of sunglasses(Chris Brown’s look alike), come out of the opposite building.
Down the road a middle aged looking woman with a little girl probably her daughter enthusiastically gets out of the parked Nissan besides the road. A little bit agitated by the two boys who suddenly appear and seem to be begging for money. The woman quickly grabs the little girl and seems to say no in an unfriendly manner while she tries to cross the road. As she takes caution by looking right and left before crossing, she takes a step forward, still agitated to her shock the boys unbelievably become gangsters and in a flip second her neck less, wristwatch and handbag are gone. The woman is left still holding on to the girl, trembling with fear and with no words to come out of her mouth.
Thinking the boys will run back to the building which they came out of earlier, I watch carefully but they proceed down the road, into the wind they disappear.
Trying to get back to my thoughts, my eyes inevitably catch the entrance of the opposite building, the building that the two boys came out of and it apparently reads "To Let".

Design PR?
I think Design PR is the best concept ever. Unlike designing for profits "advertising", PR practitioners design to create clear understanding of messages and anything that needs to be made known to the public.
PR practitioners possess social and innovative skills that are vital to current sensitive markets. These essential skills have made it possible for PR managers to create marketing materials that reflect the ultimate goal of any organisation.
One would easily identify the uniqueness of a message that has been created from a PR perspective. As Design PR managers, we create messages on behalf of our clients with the intent to keep their esteemed markets.
Design PR, simply innovative messages.

If I were the boss?
If i were the boss of one of Shoprite stores, I would simply fire all the employees in top management positions. This is simply because they are not doing their duties. This can be seen in the way the store looks & smells during shopping hours. For me it does not matter how busy it may be, the fact of the matter is the store has to be clean and attractive.
Come on, food stores are in one of the highly competitive industries at the moment and thus, they must do everything possible to remain competitive whatever the situation may be. It is only by attracting customers that any store can survive. That should be done not only through being affordable but being clean as well as giving an excellent customer service.
The managers and supervisors of Shoprite do not seem to be doing what is right in today's consumer driven business environment. They are too relaxed and being too comfortable is not good for any business.
Once again I would fire the entire lower management. I need to keep clients and enjoy the competitive advantage.

SA Taxi Drivers
I like the attitude of South African taxi drivers, because they know what they want, therefore, know what to do at the right time and right place. This group of critical thinkers never cease amazes me, they wake up every morning with an objective to reach a certain amount of money at the specific point of time.
To many other motorists they are dull and pompous because they are always overtaking other cars or want to pass through the red traffic lights but i think that, that is what keeps them going and at the end of the day commuters are at their various destinations on time. it does not only benefit commuters but it also brings food to the drivers family table.
Motorists should stop being in a cold war with taxi drivers as they do not intend to cause harm but to satisfy and thus, bring about happiness which we all need in life. The drivers income come from satisfying commuters by using all those intelligent strategies in the company, the road. They work on the road so the road is their environment and they know it better.
It's not only about you!

Customer Service or Customer Stress?
Oh yes customer stress!
South Africa is very different from other countries such as Zambia, Zim or Nigeria. while, being unique from others is good, but it is the waste thing to be known for a stinking attitude, especially when it comes to customer service(CS). This unacceptable attitude is found in all areas be it in public or private entities.
Shoprite is one store that stresses me every time i shop there, another one is 7 eleven on upper Kloof, the cashiers or til attendants or what ever they are called just can't smile or answer a simple question without frowning. This also happens in financial institutions such as banks and money agents. I don't know whether in SA it's painful to smile at clients or answer their questions.
If SA wants to rate itself on a global scale in terms of CS, my advice is that SA as a whole must wake up and stop dreaming. In this competitive world, people don't expect nonsense from anyone who desires their demand.
What you (SA) give is what you get!
Stop dreaming!

Is Polygamy a Feminist Issue?
Of course it is a feminist issue.
If it wasn't, the world wouldn't bother talking about it. Right here in SA organisations for equality are against polygamy marriages, claiming that women in such marriages are treated as of less value.
Sometimes i think less research is done by women's rights organisations to find out about these women's feelings (I mean the so called "vulnerable"), therefore, how they view their own marriages. I guess if the three wives of our president JZ were not benefiting from their marriage, be it financially or emotionally, they would have sought help to be out of the marriage. To me they seem to be comfortable and not even embarrassed to travel around the world and attend some of the high profile events. We all seen it in the media.
Moreover, most women in polygamy marriages have chosen to be their. This is also because of their desire for material possession.
Polygamy will cease to be feminist, only when media and women's rights organisations see things from the polygamist point of view.
