Customer Service or Customer Stress?

Oh yes customer stress!

South Africa is very different from other countries such as Zambia, Zim or Nigeria. while, being unique from others is good, but it is the waste thing to be known for a stinking attitude, especially when it comes to customer service(CS). This unacceptable attitude is found in all areas be it in public or private entities.
Shoprite is one store that stresses me every time i shop there, another one is 7 eleven on upper Kloof, the cashiers or til attendants or what ever they are called just can't smile or answer a simple question without frowning. This also happens in financial institutions such as banks and money agents. I don't know whether in SA it's painful to smile at clients or answer their questions.
If SA wants to rate itself on a global scale in terms of CS, my advice is that SA as a whole must wake up and stop dreaming. In this competitive world, people don't expect nonsense from anyone who desires their demand.
What you (SA) give is what you get!
Stop dreaming!

  2. I totally agree with you, SA do have by far the worst and by far the slowest service I have ever seen, yet you need to give them they are actually friendly and warming when you are in actual face to face contact with them, its just they lack speed
